Defective product in Pennsylvania Partner Jerry Baldino represented a 37 year old auto mechanic who suffered devastating facial injuries when a piece of shop equipment malfunctioned resulting in an automotive part ejecting from the piece of equipment. As a result of his injuries, our client suffered diminished earning capacity, significant medical bills and noneconomic damages for pain, suffering, facial scarring and postconcussive syndrome. A significant portion of the settlement proceeds were structured in a fashion that our client will receive monthly payments for life which will cover his lost earnings. In addition, he received a seven figure lump sum distribution compensating him for the devastating injuries that he suffered.
